E3d v6 hotend mount for GEEETech i3 printers, fits on the LM8LUU bearings with the original bearing clamps. (what i did was filed out the thread from the bearing clips and reversed the bolts direction from the original metal plate).
Made two versions for the fan duct, the second version is the one i prefer.
Provides good visibility on the printed part during printing.
Used leftover bolts and nuts from my print build.
Fan duct requires support from build plate only when printing, all other parts can be printed without support.
Fan duct has two square holes from the top where you need to put two m3 square nuts than use two accurate length m3 bolts to mount it on the carriage plate.
Use two m3 washers between the fan bracket and the duct.
I designed the fan bracket to be bolted to the duct from underneath but ended up doing from the top due the lack of space, still fits nicely.
Fitted with cheapo 40mm blower fan from ebay.
The two little holes on the mounting plate are for zip ties to secure the wiring.
Enjoy!
