Took the thing apart, found that two tabs were broken off.
The clip snaps in place where the tabs were. Quick fix! 40euro saved with 5 cents of filament.
PS: the little hinged white hook thingy hanging under the green thing is NOT a part of the problem ... it does not hook to anything, thats fine ... ignore it.
