This is a fog generating unit on GAZ66, developed in the Soviet era and used to cover relocation of military units. Still in use in armies of successor states - the video shows an Ukrainian unit in operation – very impressive.
According to some papers there should have been such units in East-German army as well, but might be this was only a plan, as I couldn’t find any evidence of such units actually used by NVA.
I created also an operator, to make the model looking more alive, but I haven’t print this guy so far.
