A remix of sitts314's 4141761, I wanted a version that I could slip onto my existing fence post caps just for the holidays so I created this model with a concave base and a sleeve adapter that can mate with a standard 4x4in pyramidal cap.
With the sleeve adapter attached, this fits over plastic caps that are no more than 112.5mm square and have a lip. Without the sleeve adapter attached, it may also be able to attached to metal ones and/or those without a lip.
I printed the model in two halves so that base is free of supports or a raft as it needs to be smooth. Similarly, I printed the sleeve adapter vertically on its front edge, with a brim so no supports were needed.
I used superglue to combine all the pieces although you can use something non-permanent (such as double-sided tape) if you want to re-use the sleeve adapter with other models, or if you want to print just the gargoyle and try to attach that directly to a cap. I do plan to make more designs for different holidays that use the sleeve adapter design.
