This is a remix of Sebhoo's alarm holder. The original model's plate was too large for the average American smoke alarm, and the fact that it was on the side and using a clip felt like it was about to tip over at any moment because of its weight.
This model slides into the top gantry, making it more stable and allowing it to be centered over the printer. It should fit most standard American smoke alarms.
I used supports for the plate, but I suspect if you flip it over, you can probably get away without them.
