Summary

Galactic Eyes is a twisty puzzle with sun mechanism.

I printed it with ASA and ABS, but PETG also works. Do not use PLA. The wall depth is 1.2 mm. All parts are designed to be printed in vertical position (with flat bottom wall toward puzzle center).

Its assembling requires 24 screws M3 of 6 cm. First, construct the sphere using 1 Core Left or Core Right, 24 Sphere, 24 Center, 24 screws (optionally with springs and washer). Make sure sphere parts fit well one another. Tension the screws loosely just to hold the construction together, and put 24 Cap.

Next, add the moving parts: 56 Vertex, 60 Edge, 132 Left Ray, 132 Right Ray, 144 Hidden and 264 Petal. Use scotch to hold the parts together until the puzzle is finished.

After that take off the Cap pieces, increase the screws tension and remove scotch. Adjust screws so the twisting is smooth and put Cap back.
