I am adding more accessories to my car and wanted to use automotive Add-a-Circuit Fuse Taps to avoid dangerous or janky wiring setups (like the red/yellow wire you see in the images - those have since been replaced with appropriate fuse taps). Unfortunately - they are quite tall. The OEM fusebox cover no longer fits with them installed. I didn't want shoe water splashing up onto my fuses!
So I spent a few hours with some calipers, copied the OEM fusebox cover, and made it 15mm taller to allow for the fuses to be added. I have included the copy of the OEM fusebox cover I made as well in case you are only looking for a replacement cover. If the side wall pillars are getting in the way of a tap wire - snap it off. The gaps I designed for more flexible wires also allow for easy...'customization' for stiff ones.
There are two versions:
Fusebox Height Extender - This consists of only the side walls to make it taller. Your original fusebox cover snaps onto it, preserving the fuse label sticker and cover in case you no longer need the extender in the future. Crossbars are for stability but can be cut off if they are in the way.
One Piece Fusebox Extended - This is an all-in-one taller fusebox cover. If you are using this I recommend placing the original fuse sticker onto it for future reference.
Recommend print in ASA, PETG, or ABS as car interiors can get very hot.
