I'm a guy with big hands and I wanted to have some more grip on my lovely black Fujifilm X100VI. Before I buy a grip from a brand, I wanted to test out if I could make it with my printer. Also this camera is quite expensive so I added a hidden Airtag compartment in case that I would forget it somewhere. I didn't add an opening for the battery because I'm just an amateur photographer, the camera can be charged via usb-c and because there is no opening it adds rigidness/stiffness to the whole print.
The screw I used was from an old Agfa camera, the screw head diameter of mine is 18 mm, I think that the max. is 20 mm. The Airtag fits nice, it has +- 1 mm diameter clearance and in height also +-1 mm clearance. It doesn't wobble or make noise because the Airtag is attracted to the magnet of the build-in speaker of the camera.
I made the Handgrip out of PLA with 0.2 mm layerheight with the standard Ender 3 pro + glass bed, it's already quite rigid/stiff so if you guys/ladies make it out of something stronger, it will surely not brake.
