A local hospital contacted Mary's quilting group to sew cloth covers to prolong the life of their medical-grade N95 masks. The recommended pattern was the Fu Face Mask from the FreeSewing group, which has plenty of clearance for a mask underneath.
The interior of the template is the nominal fabric outline, where you sew the seams. Trace around the exterior of the template for a 1/4 inch (6.35 mm) seam allowance.
NOTE: Used by itself, this mask is not a medical-grade filter.
