My new design for a micro fpv quad frame based on 8.5mm Brushed Motors, a CC3d Atom, and some custom Brushed Motor ESC's.
Could fit Hubsan X4 FC or something like a Scisky Brushed FC
Battery is slung underneath, base and plate connected with M3 Hex spacers + screws. I use this with the plate on top, but also could be slung underneath.
I use a stripped down Flysky RX soldered to the CC3D Nano. This is glued to under the top plate. I also replaced the stock antenna with a little wire antenna (range is still good enough for me).
Runs nice with a 600mah 1S lipo, I have tried running with smaller batteries, but I can't quite get the PIDs right for it. Feels much more stable with a bigger battery, and still fast and nimble (for flips etc).
Would also work nice as a transplant frame for a Hubsan X4 if you wanted to make a cheap custom FPV Quad
