The file 'Free Optics-lab-kit 3D Printer Model' is (stl) file type, size is 204.7KB.
This is my approach to a free and low cost optics laboratory kit that could be used by schools and hobby scientists.
There are two versions:
The first can be mounted on a post using M3 screws, which would most likely be of use in a laboratory environment. The second one is thought to be used with an 20x20mm T-Slot profile aluminium extrusions for hobbyists.
I will design other components such as mirror/lens holder etc in the near future.
This Thing is a work in progress, so keep your eyes open for updates!
Safety notice:
This kit is supposed to be used with lasers. Please be careful when working with them. Even low power lasers like the ones you will find in cheap laser-pointers may cause unrepairable damage to your eyes. Do not use 3D printed parts when working with high-power lase-diodes (>10mW). Wear protective glasses.
