This is a holder for frameless solder paste stencils from AdvancedCircuits.com. That is where I get my solder paste stencils from, but this design will work for any stencils that fit in the area of the stencil holder part.
There are 4 main components to the rack: The base, the top, the wall, and the stencil holder. 4 wall parts need to be printed to complete the build. For best structural integrity, the walls should be glued into the base and top parts.
The template stencil holder part should be customized with the imprint of your PCB. I have added gaps to my holders to reduce printing time and material. When adding gaps to the holder, make sure that the area where the paste spreader will press down is well supported.
The rack was designed to be stackable. The base from one rack can be clipped onto the top of another to increase the number of stencils that can be stored.
One attachment is included here. This attachment clips to the top of the rack and provides a platform to set a single can cooler, like this one, for cooling a solder paste jar, as well as a holder for this solder paste spreader.
