A low-profile motor guard that can be easily 3D printed in a matter of minutes.
Using normal printer settings is Ok. High print quality will allow for a more durable build. You may also increase the infill to something higher to eliminate the possibility of breakage when in light use! No supports or rafts needed, printed in PLA, could be done easily in other materials such as PETG or ABS. From my tests were all done with a stock Ender 3, ad it worked out fine.
Been flying with them for a few months now, very aggressive concrete bando bashing and no issues. Havent broken a single one. My friend ruyined his motor by bending the shaft and denting the bell in the same bando and at the same spot I crashed into. No issues for me!!
Simply remove the motors screws and slide between the frame and motor. Then replace the screws and it should be secure. Do the same for the other 3 motors and you are done!
