Summary

01 Feb 2019 - I was advised i had incorrectly mirrored the main building roof and the support gussets didn't line up. i have corrected the file. Thanks for bringing it to my attention, and my apologies for anyone cursing me earlier; sorry about the error.

This is a 28mm rendition of a forward airfield control tower. i enjoy scenarios that have some background story, and thought a raid on an airfield by, say the LRDG in the Western Desert, or the SAS in northern europe, or Brandenburgers behind allied lines may be of interest.
I didn't want a concrete control tower, as you would find at an airfield in the UK or in Germany; rather I wanted a building that looked as it it was thrown up by some field engineers in a few days. The roofs are removable. I made the sign to the left of the front door by printing off a generic unit logo and applying it to the wall.
The pics are of the test print, i did tweak the file for better fit and balance, with some more detail than shown here.
