Summary

This is a forest scatter piece with an entrance to a barrow, made possible by my recently successful Kickstarter Forest of Oakenspire, which has late pledges available if you missed out!

This prints as 3 pieces on smaller printers, which glue together easily with alignment tabs. There's also a complete version if you wish to print it in one go. The entrance section does require some support material to print well, and printing in separate pieces makes removing the supports very easy. It's scaled for 28mm but can be scaled up/down as needed.

I printed it at .24mm layer height, which made printing fast but if I had to do it again I would use .2mm to get better detailing on the stone tops by the entrance. I did zero cleanup of the model as well, and you can see the joint lines easily in my pics. A quick bit of filler and sanding would have removed these. If I had to do it again, I would also have hit the stones by the entrance with a few shots of filler primer to smooth them out.

As you can see from the pic, I flocked the whole thing. I'm crappy at flocking but the end result is OK. It also looked good with just a green basecoat before flocking, so a few other shades of green could have rounded this out (if you aren't a flock fan). I also didn't have much for flock options, but using a few varieties and a few pieces of clump would have made this look even cooler.
