Summary

A cubby tray I designed to make the weird cubby in the Fiesta center console useable. This should provide a perfect fit for any of the fiestas with that cubby (mk7s...2016 and on, I think). See pictures for reference.

I printed this in ASA, but you can probably get away with ABS or PETG, if you want (I just find ASA prints better than PETG and is less stinky than ABS...plus, UV protection!) Just remember your car interior will probably get hot enough to warp PLA.

Print the model with the back/rear of the tray flat against the build plate. The overhangs are such that you should not need any supports, but you know your printer best. I printed with no supports and it came out very nice. Make sure you establish good, first layer adhesion to prevent failures late in the print. Use a brim or raft if it makes sense for your set up. Remember, since the bottom of the print is the back of the tray, it's ok if it is not absolutely perfect (nobody will ever see it).

Of desired, you can put a bit of double-sided tape on the back of the tray, to hold it in place, but I have never found it necessary.

As always, my designs are free to use, but please don't steal or sell 'em. Good luck, and happy printing!
