I was experiencing >90% ambient humidity in my home. Other desiccant boxes were taking too long to dry the air in my enclosures, having to swap out the gel repeatedly throughout the day.
I designed this and it works way faster than others I have downloaded and holds a significant amount of silica gel beads. I also set it to take a piece of active carbon filter material because I'm printing stinky exotic filaments.
Takes a 60mm fan, you can scale it but you will have to do something about the fan holes. I use a very cheap usb fan and it works like a champ. The inside tube is intended to stay mostly empty to increase air flow.
