This simple connector can join two 25 x 25 mm aluminum (or other) pipe ends together, either simple square pipes or I-type extrusions. It allows for 180° rotation and has a spring tensioned button for locking them in the straight position, a model without the lock is also provided. This was made upon request from my original
"Foldable 20x20 Aluminum Profile Connector".
Components needed: M8 x 40 mm socket head screw and nylon locking nut, 0.8 x 8 x 20 mm compression spring, M3.5 x 40 mm roll pin, as well as 2 pcs of M5 screws (or other) to thread into the side of the aluminum tube ends. Print standing up with pipe hole-side down! Clear screw holes with drill if needed...
Source code (.stp & .3dm) is also provided, should you want to modify the design for your own purpose. Please share your prints!
