Summary

I created these to help me get better cuts when building foam board planes. I made the blade depth adjustable because sometimes you do not want to cut all the way through.

There are 4 different cutters.

  1. Straight single blade cutter.
  2. Double blade cutter. Gap is 4 mm between blades. Used for creating folds. A folds and B folds for those that know Flite Test planes.
  3. Edge cutter. Holds 1 blade and an edge guide for cutting 4 mm into the edges of the board. Uses the same holder as the double blade cutter, just use the guide piece instead of a blade.
  4. 45 Degree cutter. Used primarily for control surface relief cuts.

I am using razor blades rather than utility blades. I am using 3M screws and nuts to hold everything together.

Razor blades are sharp. I make no claim that these make them safer. Use at your own risk.

12/22/2018 - I finally used these on a full project. They work pretty well, not perfect but pretty well. I will add some mods after Christmas.
