Summary

Sometime in the summer of 2013, on a sunny afternoon near Klamath Falls Oregon I was returning from a road trip with my wife traveling SE on HWY 140 and came across more than a dozen cars pulled over to the shoulder of the road and thought there was an accident or something and slowed to a stop.

I noticed everyone was looking and pointing to the field to the west of us. Hovering approximately 300 yards away, 100 feet in the air over the field was a matte silver, seamless, saucer-shaped object. We believe it was approximately 150 feet wide and had a faint white glow to the edge that seemed to pulse slightly. The silver saucer wobbled just a little as it hung in the air, I thought it was a solar balloon at first but it was way too thin to be a balloon and there weren't any wires or ropes holding it in place. The craft was very sleek and rigid. It looked like it one one solid piece of brushed aluminum.

My wife tried to get a picture but her cell phone wasn't working right or the pictures were turning out very poor quality. I simply said "huh, that's a flying saucer" after sitting parked on the side of the road for a minute I decided that we should leave and that someone else would have pictures or it'll be on the news. "There's no sense in getting irradiated or death-rayed over this. If its an invasion it'll still be happening when we get home in 20 minutes." and I drove off.

We rode home mostly in silence and just periodically said "that was a f***ing flying saucer" or something similar as we processed what we just saw.

This model is approximately what we saw it can be printed in two halves and glued together. We both agree this is extremely close to what it looked like.

Klamath Falls is home to Kingsley Field, the 173rd fighter wing, a F15 and soon a F22 base which I've seen U2 spy planes and other odd aircraft around. So maybe this thing was man-made? Where it was geographically it would have been below radar as there are several large hills between the airbase and the field it was hovering over.

We have a hard time recalling the exact date of the UFO sighting and were reeling in disbelief for several weeks that followed. It has been suggested that it may have had an amnesia effect on witnesses, but maybe we got a light dose because we left within a few minutes. We can't remember exactly which road trip we were returning from during that time period. It was a hell of a thing to see in person and I'll never ridicule someone for seeing something that "doesn't exist" ever again. I've tried to find other witness statements of the event as there were easily 20 other witnesses, many with their cell phones out. I have no clue why nobody else posted pictures or anything.
