This is a wall mount plug to let you flush-mount something to the wall. In my case, I wanted to be able to hang up a serving tray my wife had made.
You'll need a Forstner bit to drill the hole, then this slides into place.
There's a slim ridge on the side of the plug that helps trap glue and ensure it stays in place.
I wanted to hide the wood at the back of the plug, as it wasn't stained like the rest of the board.
There's a conical taper to make it easy to guide the nail into the hole when you're floundering around trying to hang it. Makes it super easy to mount without the nail head scratching the item up.
I can easily size it up or down, it's simply the outer diameter ring that would change to accommodate your Forstner bit. If you want a different size, just let me know!
