Maybe you don't want to mount all your tools on the top? maybe you opted for a tool box or a tray under the build plate but still need a place for the flush cutters? This thing lets you mount your cutters wherever you want and a few different models will allow even more customization.
This lets you mount the cutters to any of your v-rails. Though if you use either of your vertical rails that would interfere with tall prints.
This will fit other makes and models if they use the same size of aluminum extrusions for their frame.
UPDATE: Version 1.1 makes the back of the clip thicker since I had one snap after several months of use.
