Summary

This is a fix for an issue I had on my Q5 which was slight play in the ball joints on the arms. This slightly amount of play will cause the effector to move or rotate slightly between each of the arm pairs and have a very negative affect on print quality, and I could also hear them rattling around on rapid movements and I wanted this printer as quiet as possible

I started off simply attaching springs directly to the arms however I could hear the springs occasionally creaking (as they do need to rotate slightly) and would move up and down on the arms. They'll eventually start to scratch little grooves into the metal and can cause a very slight amount of binding.

So I came up with this design which simply snaps onto each arm, the springs no longer ride up and down on the arms, and they rotate more freely

You need to print this with a material that has some flex to get them on without breaking. PLA is probably not a good choice (PLA+ may work). I used Nylon (specifically Taulman Alloy 910) as this is strong and flexible enough to not break

edit: Snap the clips on in the orientation shown in the photo. If you mount them upside down they will touch the mount when the arms rotate fully to the sides and cause a bit more resistance
