I used neodymium magnets (as on the thumbnail) to attach the brooches: disk Ø10×3mm outside (other forms and sizes may be used) and 5×5×3mm inside - middle7s.stl has slot for this very size. I also added middle7r.stl with slot for disk Ø6×3mm magnet (though I did not test it).
All published STL files have 7-fold symmetry - this could be changed by value of N in common.scad (and regenerating the data in OpenSCAD).
