I needed a non-pressure water source to run a battery powered pressure washing system so I designed the enclosed system to mount a float valve to a standard 5 gallon bucket to automatically fill the bucket and provide an endless source of water to run the pressure washer. You could also use this to maintain water for dogs or other small animals where a full blown stock tank might be overkill. The unit would probably work fine with just the main body, but designed the “U” bars to make the bucket groove much stronger. I prefer to use Fix-all gel Super Glue I get from Dollar Tree to glue the parts together. I also designed a slide on retainer to encapsulate the hose running to the pressure washer. You don't need support or adhesion with any of these parts. I use PETG, but PLA would probably work as well.
