This is a prototype made with the advice of my brother who is currently part of the team of doctors who support COVID19 patients at the hospital of Partinico, (PA), in Sicily.

The design was created starting from the sectional view of a human skull with an average circumference of 560mm. the presence of the rear hooks allows the application of an elastic for an automatic tightening of the rods, instead the front clip allows a safe removal and avoids the contamination of the body with the exposed part.
The A4 sheet fixing system has been designed in one piece with the supporting structure and opens by sliding the flap upwards.

The upper holes allow correct ventilation to avoid fogging problems

The shield is still a prototype under development and an updated and tested version will be available in the coming days!!!

Questo è un prototipo realizzato con i consigli di mio fratello che attualmente fa parte del team di medici che supporta i malati di COVID19 all'ospedale di Partinico, (PA), in sicilia.

Il design è stato realizzato a partire dalla vista in sezione di un cranio umano di cirfonferenza media pari a 560mm. la presenza dei ganci posteriori permette l'applicazione di un elastico per un serraggio automatico delle aste, invece la clip frontale permette una rimozione sicura ed evita la contaminazione del corpo con la parte esposta.
Il sistema di fissaggio del foglio A4 è stato progettato in un unico pezzo con la struttura portante e si apre facendo scorrere il lembo in alto.

I fori superiori permettono una corretta ventilazione per evitare problemi di appannamento

Lo scudo è ancora un prototipo in fase di elaborazione e nei prossimi giorni sarà disponibile una versione aggiornata e collaudata!
