The file 'Flexible Handcuffs 3D Printer Model' is (stl) file type, size is 189.3KB.
This is a major revision of my existing dual handcuff design. The benefit of this is that it only requires one lock making it much lighter and easier to put on. This is just version one right now but I will probably have a couple more revisions to come before moving on to my next project. I felt this deserved its own submission because it was designed from scratch and there might still be some coming revisions of the two lock version.
This one is also slightly harder to use as its security is predicated on the the length of the locking the bar used. The distance from edge to edge of the locking zone (the middle) is 22mm so I recommend not using locking bars much longer than that as it will loosen the cuffs. The lock I have used is the Master Lock 140D and worked reasonably well. I will continue testing and update the design if needed. Also any locks you find that work well, please leave them below so that others might have more guidance.
The cuff diameter is still 50mm being designed for smaller wrists though scaling it up should be fine. Unlike the dual lock design, the cuff portion is an almost uninterrupted circle making it quite flexible all the way around.
Cuff diameter: 50mm
Time to print: 5 hours
Final weight (without locks): 28g (6% of a standard NinjaFlex roll at 500g)
This work is licenced under a CC-AT-SA licence. You are free to remix the design, and even sell prints of this if you so desire. I would ask that you let me know if you are (just because I think it's cool to know) though you are not obligated to do this.
There are bitcoin addresses on my profile page if you wish to donate to either myself or the model. Donations are of course optional but they help me allocate time to update designs and fill feature requests.
