The file 'Flexible Ambulatory Crutch 3D Printer Model' is (stl, slvs) file type, size is 1.2MB.
These parts are for producing the joints for an ambulatory crutch. The idea was to produce a crutch with adjustable geometry for testing the effects of different offsets between the contact points with the arm and the ground. The parts are printed from PETG with 100% infill. The design is still in its testing phase and depending upon the user weight and the printing quality it may fail. The design is shared to allow others to contribute to the project.
The upright is 30x15mm aluminum extrusion whilst the other elements are 20x10mm. A selection of M5 bolts and nuts are required.
For some of the parts thicker version are included that have allowed use with heavier subjects.
