Small filament cutter for Flashforge adventurer 5M in order to have easier filament change (Don´t need to remove PTFE tube).
Found several cutters on the web, but all of them were very big.
You would need:
A pair of retractable ball pen springs (I used just one long enough to cut it into two pieces)
A pair of 3x25mm screws.
25mm of PTFE tube.
A piece of 9mm cutter blade (the small ones).
The v1 has a beveled flat face that you can use to lay on the bed for a better printing
The v2 is even 4mm shorter (this is the one I prefer), but you would need supports.
The main body should be printed with a rotation in the X-axis of -135º. This is the best printing orientation for better strength and less supports (no supports at all with v1).
Don't know if it can be a problem with the 5M printed enclosure. Check the picture with the extruder in the front edge.
I did it the smallest I could. Hope you enjoy it.
