Summary

A filament guide, in three variations, for using exernal filament with the Flashforge Adventurer 3.

There are two versions for use with a short piece of PTFE tube, and one with just a simple ring.

The PTFE tube variants are for tubes with an outer diameter of 4 or 6mm, and an inner diameter of at least 3mm.
Drilling a 3mm hole in piece of tube with with 2mm inner diameter works, but I suggest using tubes with 6mm outer and 4mm inner, or 4mm outer and 3.2mm inner, diameter.

I use this together with the 1kg spool holder for monoprice voxel by Ryoichi Kato and a piece of 4mm PTFE tube that goes through the hatch to the feeder.

I've included the source code used for creating the models as well, so you can change parameters and render with OpenSCAD.

A simple printable rivet that can be used to attach the guide the hatch is also included.

Which rivet version works best depends om filament, settings, etc. For me, the loose rivet worked with add:north black PLA, while the medium worked with Flashforge black PLA.
(You can also use OpenSCAD, and the included source code, to create a rivet with other parameters, if none of the included models work.)
