Clips to keep multi-part fishing rods together. The Berkeley clips are for two-part rods, the surf rod clips are for three-part rods. The rods are intended to be clipped together in such a way that the line can be left on the rods.
While the STL files are designed for specific fishing rods (the numbers in parenthesis indicate the diameter of the sections in millimeters), I have also included Fusion 360 project files that allow many of the dimensions to be modified. The two-part rod clips are designed for a Berkeley Big Game rod, the three-part clips for a 12 foot Sougayilang surf fishing rod.
To adapt to a fishing rod with different diameters, just double-click on the diameter in the sketch and change it. I would recommend that you use the actual measured diameter where you plan to attach the clip or slightly smaller for a tighter fit. These rod clips are designed to be printed in a flexible material, like TPU.
There is a sketch in each design that contains the text to print on the clip. You can change this to suit your need. You may need to delete the extrusion and redo it to change the text.
