Summary

fischertechnik has many different parts and requires storage of the parts in such a way that retrieval or re-storage can be efficient. The often used 1000 storage box contains 8 smaller '250' boxes, similar to the size some of the 50 series. However storage in 1000 boxes is not the quickest way to retrieve parts.

A rack was created in OpenScad such that a series of racks with different dimensions can be created. With the standard dividers the '250' box can be subdivided as needed.

In addition a front can be printed that clips on the front edge of a 250 box, with the option to insert a transparent plastic sheet behind which picture or a label can be stored. The front is available in two versions (small & wide), depending on whether there are small ridges on the inside of the '250' box. A knob can optionally be printed and glued on the front.

In order to preserve filament plant of holes are added and the racks can be assembled together with standard connectors (verbinder, 31061)
