This remix just used a portion of the fan spacer as a mount. This bracket is designed to hold itself on using the ridges on the sides of the Firewalla Gold Plus. It may work with the original Firewalla Gold but I don't have one to test with to be sure. The design forces the air through the top channels on the firewalls with a small gap that I may increase in a newer version.
