The file 'Filament Spool Wall Mount With Quick Snap Lock 3D Printer Model' is (stl) file type, size is 4.2MB.
Update: After hundreds of downloads over the last two yearsI decided to give the parts a new and smoother design. All new designs have the ending 'New' in the filename. SuperCone with better design to press the bearings in with less force. Lock Lever is user friendly rounded. Two versions for the Lock_Base: 'Wide' for more shrinking materials like ABS and usual printing quality, 'Narrow' if you print precisely and search for a klick feeling when close the lever. Two new 'SpoolBreak' parts to drag the filament spool a bit and keep the drag constantly. The 'Small' break touches only on the bearing and produces a little drag, the 'Big' rub the cone for a more significant effect. See pictures. All other parts are unchanged.
Usually my Spool Bearing Railway http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1023865 is working very well, but for long hour (over night) prints I prefer to have a conventional wall mounted spool holder with very low friction. I searched for something and found this http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:969358. First I printed these parts but unfortunately the level-basis broke away two times and the cone was not able to hold some of my Taulman spools. Anyway, thank's a lot to loco for all the inspiring to my solution. :-)
My wall mount spool holder fits for two spool of any size I have seen so far. The cones have a 608 ball bearing and supports inner spool diameters from 15mm up to 60mm. Fast lock-levers with an inside M8 (or 5/16") thread allow locking AND tightening the cones by turning them like a bolt. But there is also a new genius auto-snap piece that locks automatically in place. Movements are possible by pitching it and the self-made spring inside locks it after releasing. Also this piece can be tightening additionally if needed.
That means you can either print the M8 Auto Snap piece OR the 'classic' parts with M8 Lock Base and M8 Lock Lever. See instructions to build the Auto Snap with a paper-clip!
A wall mount thing is also included, but you can - of course - use any other metal or wood support you like.
If you enjoyed the thing please give a comment. Same if you have problems or questions, please.

Click-Fix option to handle loose filament spools is here: http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1096249
