The file 'Filament Spool Roller 3D Printer Model' is (f3d,step,stl) file type, size is 4.1MB.
Filament roller for 1kg, 90mm width filament spools.
Update: The roller now has a solid base instead of two standoffs. There are two different versions, one with threaded holes underneath to attach rubber feet, one without.
STEP, STL and Fusion files included in download.
Required parts:
4 x Bearing 16x5x5mm
4 x M5 20 (can be shorter or longer)
4 x M5 10-14mm screw
4x Rubber feet (optional)
4x M3 8mm screws (optional)
I used DIN 912 screws, if you use other M5 screws with a head wider then 9mm, then you might want to edit the side part and make the hole for the head bigger.
Parts to print:
2 x Side.
2 x Roller
1 x Base
4 x Spacer
Print the sides laying down, the rollers and the base standing up without supports for best results.
Assembly instructions:
Screw the bearings into the sides with the printed spacers between. Screw one if the sides to the base, press-fit the bearings into the rollers and screw together the other side with the base.
