This model was designed because I was too lazy to buy new bearings for other already available spool holder. Instead, I wanted to reuse old skateboard bearings, so I designed yet another filament spool holder.
Base is 100 x 108mm
Rollers inner width is 78mm so wide enough to fit any spool (1kg cardboard ones have 69mm width)
No bolt needed, you can print the peg and use common gauge 14 electric copper wire as cotter pin. Alternatively, use M8 bolts or smaller diameter one (doesn’t matter much).
Roller has a slight slope that ensure the spool stays centered.
Pretty simple model, less material used.
Printer: Creality Ender 3
Filament: PLA
Base (1x): No support
Rollers (2x): Print vertically, support touching build plate (would probably print fine without support, not tested)
Pegs (2x): Print horizontally, with supports (50 degrees)
Washers (optional) : print vertically, no support
4x 608 bearings (8x22x7 standard / 8x22x13 extended), theses are skateboard/roller blade/scooter bearings, probably one of the most widely used bearings in those kinds of apparel.
Print the washers if you have standard bearings, no washers for extended bearings
