Filament-roller for Anycubic i3 Mega S/Pro

Status: FINISHED

This Thing includes an Upgrade to the standard filament-holder of the Anycubic i3 Mega S/Pro. To reduce tension on the filament and by that a reduced risk of breaking filament or extruder-failure i created this non destructive accessory. Get your own now to improve your printing quality!

How to build

Print all printable parts
Insert or press in the bearings into the rolls
Be careful to only press on the outer ring, pressing on the inner ring could damage the bearings
Unmount the standard holder on your i3 Mega S/Pro
Insert the holders into the ends of the rolls
Push the assembled filament-roller onto the metal plate
Remount the standard holder with the filament-roller

The fit of the bearings is pretty tight, a rubber mallet or press could be useful to mount them.
