Summary

This little flower pot is printed in one color and then you press fit in the contrasting filament color of your choice.

You print this little flower pot in vase mode and then press fit the inlay into the channels. (They snap in when I print on my Mk4). It allows you to make a dual color design with only a single extruder.

Once I had all the filament press fit in I just trimmed the excess with my side cutters and hit it with a lighter just to polish up the cuts. (careful if you do likewise it is easy to overheat such a thin part.)

If you are interested in the profile that I used I have posted the fusion design file as well. There is some excess geometry in there sorry I hadn't really planned on posting it but then thought someone might find the example useful. The dimensions I used worked well to snap in the filament but if you aren't rpinting vase mode you would probably need to make the groves a little bigger and then feed the filament in.
