The file 'Filament Indicator Or Custom Labels Slider 3D Printer Model' is (stl) file type, size is 588.6KB.
Hello there!
Everyone khows that different filament types need different processing temperatures. I have connected the filament dryer to my printer so it also uses different drying modes.
Not all spools of filament have labels with material name on it. They just stored on different shelves. Trying not to forget what type of plastic in dryer I've used the old method of sticker and paper clip ;)
Here is the new method with slider and replaceable labels! You can change their order anytime or add your own text. Use for this the blank label file. To mount it on filament dryer I used the double-sided tape.
I've made the frames for 3, 4 and 5 labels, so you can choose the files Frame_3, Frame_4 or Frame_5 and corresponding backplate. Then print one Slider and labels of your choice.
The diameter of slider is 0.1 mm less than the place where it slides. So there is a chance that it will slide by itself. To avoid this you can try printing Slider with 101% or 101.5% scale in X and Y axes.
