Summary

Filament guide with a roller to avoid the filament from touching the z-axis or worst.
Super easy assembly.
This design is entirely based on the excellent filament guide of Tomaskom_cz , but I changed the attachment since it did not fit my ender.

This new model is more stable, requires less plastic and is faster to print.

The attachment works for my ender-3 V2 with a top aluminium bar of 20 mm for each side.
There are small test models to try if your printer is compatible.

To install the filament guide is sufficient to remove the cap from the aluminium bar and slide the piece in place.
I added a pin to increase the stability.
There are three versions of the filament guide: one with a square pin of 6.4 mm; one with a smaller pin of 4 mm; one without a pin.

Print in 3 pieces:
-filament guide (the version you prefer)
-axis
-roller

New in V2 (not tested)

Added a compatible z-screw stabilizer from the amazing work of Night-fury (thing 3276886, I kept his notation for stabilizers V1 and V2), from the request of Pg-maker. To summary:
V1 stabilizer: doesn't require support, not compatible with all z-screw knobs
V2 stabilizer: compatible with all knobs, require supports.

V2 version of the filament guide:

  • the guide doesn't interfere with the z-screw knob or stabilizer
  • the roller is moved to better align with the filament (problem expressed by ShamloK)

Hope you enjoy it!
