Summary

This base plate is designed as a guide for the Balance Tetris game pieces. It "holds" 6 copies of the 7 shapes.

It also makes the most sense to have two balance beams in the box.

  • One of the hollow ones at the bottom (upside down) that acts as a compartment for the dice (or anything else)
  • The other one on top to fully use up the rest of the space

Nothing really special for printer settings. I'm pretty sure if the nubs were colored as the original suggests printing, it would make locating the piece locations 100x easier.

While printing the game pieces for the Balance Tetris game I needed a place to store them. I pulled one of my filament boxes out of my recycle bin and eventually noticed that it was the perfect size to hold them. The only problem was that it needed a guide of some sort to keep the first layer "in place". I ran across the original's model and the bases were perfect for what I wanted to do.

Update - Added color tabs that can be glued to the base to help identify where the games pieces are located
