The file 'Field Easel With Stool (Porzano And Porzano+) 3D Printer Model' is (STL) file type, size is 1.9MB.
You will need:
• 270cm of wood (round, 35mm)
• A good amount of filament (PETG or CPU recommended)
• All models printed (the amount you need of each model is indicated in the model name)
• A speeddrill size 15
• Excitement for this project
Advices for if you want to make your own Porzano and Porzano+
• Try to make the best use of the printplate by printing multiple parts at the same time. All parts can be printed within two rounds.
• All parts must be positioned in such a way that as little support as possible is required. (See images for suggestions.)
• The diameter of the wooden parts must be 35cm in diameter to fit.
• You can decide how long you want to cut the legs. For the render, the front legs of the easel itself are 48 cm, the rear leg and the top part 40 and the legs of the stool 20 cm.
• When drilling the holes, make sure they are 10cm apart to be able to clamp the canvas properly. Take the angle of the front legs into account.
• You can also choose to drill holes in the rear leg and the legs of the stool for a more consistent design, but this is completely optional.
• For filament it is recommended to use PETG or CPU.
• Use the default settings recommended for the chosen filament. Only change the infill to Gyroid with a density of 50% for a good strength-to-weight ratio.
• In order to reduce costs, you can choose not to print the caps for the legs of the stool and the top of the field easel. But it will not make the design and functionality better.
Have fun!
