Hood grille for Panda 141 (first series): I modeled it based on an original grille from the Fiat Accessories Line.
Instead of replicating the original hooks, I chose to fix it with 4 screws by adding 4 drilled feet to accommodate threaded inserts. I used M5 countersunk screws simply because they were the only stainless steel ones I had around but I think they are over-sized. I also attach the washer to use but, in case you change the type of screw, it should be redone.
The attached photos were taken after 4 months and 5000 km of component use.
To print it, I used a Kobra Max placed inside a chamber.
I chose ASA as the material to ensure maximum resistance but I believe that PETG can also be a valid alternative.
I had to print the component horizontally to avoid thermal shrinkage problems but it would be preferable to print it vertically using tree supports and resting it on the flat section highlighted in blue in the photos: the PLA prototypes printed with this method have always given very satisfactory results.
