Now Available on Shapeways! ––– I love Angus's Fennec Fox Ring, but when I printed it, it came out with a few defects and my Replicator 2 with MakerWare Software didn't cope well printing the ears, so I've fixed up the model to work better. It's been totally rebuilt in blender with a thinner ring, and with the fox head brought in a little closer to the finger and moved down so the chin is at the same level as the bottom of the ring. The ring itself is a bit thinner and much less faceted, which looks great printed in transparent filament. The ears were evened out so they are the same height and some of the asymmetries were improved. The ears were a particular focus, with the facets adjusted to catch light in their subtle flat planes along the grain of the print. Infill and supports are unnecessary, so it prints a bit quicker than the original too - about 20 mins on a Replicator 2. Also note the ring is sized different to Angus's version.
Sizing: Printed at 100% the inside diameter of the ring is 16.2mm, which converts to these international ring sizes:
