The file 'Fender And Flight Fins For Pint X 3D Printer Model' is (stl) file type, size is 3.1MB.

Summary

This design is a modified file based on the GT version from https://www.printables.com/@Kagman (he has a pint version if you want to try, but I feel this GT-based version is more robust, and you can use it over your stock cancel fender)

I recommend printing the fender with PETG for durability and the flight fins with TPU or PLA flex (I added the holes to fit on this version and also keep compatibility with the GT).

I will keep updating this post since I'm still testing the fender. I found that the fender needs some flexibility to handle crashes and the board weight while lifting, so I'm working on a V4 version with a flexible material from Printalot (https://printalot.com.ar/categoria-producto/filamentos/pla-flex/)

Happy floating.

Fender V3

  • Orientation: Upside down
  • Support: YES
  • Infill: 60%
  • Walls: 4

Fender V4 - TPU/PLAFlex (94A)

  • Orientation: Vertical
  • Support: NO
  • Infill: 50% (Will depend on the material you are using; increase it for less flexibility)
  • Walls: 6

Flight fins

  • Orientation Vertical
  • Support: NO
  • Infill: 25%
  • Walls: 4

V4 - TESTING IN PROGRESS:
After crashing so many times with the PETG, which cracked the fender, I found that the V3 design for TPU or PLA flex has some pain points that make the piece too flexible, so I redesigned it and will post new updates.

PD: Kagman has a pretty cool shield design that is compatible with his designs of fenders. I don't think that will work on this one out of the box, but probably re-escalating it will fit. I didn't try since I only wanted to add the flight fins.
