Our club builds our own turnouts and to simplify construction I designed these ties to fit the Fast Tracks templates for #5 fixture.

The design splits the turnout into two pieces to fit on a 200mm bed
This sped up construction and found it easier to line up the turnouts as we build these complete on the workbench then lay them out on the layout. I found PETG filament to hold up better when soldering track feeds or fixing points as it takes a higher heat.
Pliobond cement works well holding the track to the ties. Use 1/16 PC board ties and the bond between the PC ties and plastic ties holds very well. Club members have also use CA glue with good results
