The file 'Fanatec CSL DD Axle Anti-slip-out Bracket 3D Printer Model' is (stl) file type, size is 195.5KB.
Bracket for original Fanatec axle collar which should prevent the axle from slipping out while driving resulting in wheel disconnect.
YOU WILL NEED:
PETG or ABS printer
6pc M6x40 inbus crews (DIN 912)
4pc M6 nuts (DIN 934)
2pc M8x45 inbus screw (DIN 912) (8x50 is also fine)
2pc M8 nuts (DIN 985 - self locking) (DIN 934 is also fine)
optional - M6 screw tap for two excentered holes - not necessary
1 - Press the original collar inside base part. Press it inside really good!
2 - Put the damn thing together using 2 M8 screws and only 4 M6 screw around center hole leaving the two holes for M6 screws on the right side empty.
3 - Leave more than 5 mm between collar part and jaws.
4 - Push it on the wheel base.
5 - Push axle inside.
6 - Tighten the collar part pushed ALL THE WAY in.
7 - Tighten the jaws and make sure they ARE pressed upon wheelside axle ring
8 - Tighten those 4 M6 screws going into nuts in collar part. You should be careful and gentle. I guess actually less than 3nm should be applied.
M6 SCREWS TIPS COULD BE EXACTLY ALIGNED WITH COLLAR PART BASE. IF OVERTIGHTENED, COLLAR SIDE PART WILL BREAK
9 - Print collar side part again and try not breaking it this time. If you hear more than one noticeable click this time, it's over.
10 - Optionaly put two more M6 screws in two holes on the side. Those are here just for the feel TBH
