The file 'Fan Aspirated Radiation Shield 3D Printer Model' is (stl) file type, size is 301.6KB.
Fan aspirated radiation shield designed for housing meteorological instrumentation. The double-walled intake tubing and large upper shield reduce influences from solar heating while still providing the unit with plenty of airflow with the housing fan on. The instrumentation tray which sits inside the unit below the fan can be altered to accommodate a wide variety of sensors. The housing mounts with a singular overhead bolt that goes through the upper shield, take care to ensure that the parts of the housing are printed thick enough and with enough infill to handle this.
This unit was designed with a standard 60mm computer fan for ventilation. Most fans of this size should work, however the unit was specifically designed around a Noctua 60 x 25mm fan.
