Summary

This is a model of the Pipe Pistol from Fallout 4.

Warning - The assembled model (the actual STL model) is much bigger than it should be, if you want to print it (Only the already assembled model, the part models are sized correctly) you should shrink it by 68%

I printed mine in copper and wood fill to get a very real look to it.

Most parts are modeled together with a very small bridge, this bridge will not print (you don't want it to) unless you have a layer height of something like 0.001mm so don't worry about it.

the barrel is over 300mm long so if you don't have a large printer you will need to cut the model and this should OK, there shouldn't be anything wrong with cutting models and gluing them together after. This goes for all the parts if they dont fit your printer (although the spring may not cut, idk)

heres some instructions for putting it together:

its kind of split into 3 sections, the trigger area, the barrel, and the handle

For the barrel:

  • glue together the 2 wood parts, they should lineup with the little triangle,
  • then you should be able to slide the barrel in, line the opening in the barrel with the opening of the wood, you might need to sand them both a bit first
  • then glue together the 3 parts in the both.stl file, the long rod should fit in the top of the fat cylinder, the the spring fits over top (i used a piece of paper to hold them flush)
  • slide that bolt assembly into the barrel, with the hole in the fat cylinder pointing out the barrel opening, put the printed screw thats with that stl in that hole
  • add the sights to the top of the wood
  • put the mag together and glue it to the side of the wood, wherever looks right lol
  • for the copper stuff that goes around the front the the barrel, i have no good explaination for that, when i was putting mine together i tried a bunch of orders before it worked right, just mess with it till you get it, using my photos as a reference

for the trigger area:

  • the big trigger guard thing should slide over the wood
  • take the small screw heads and glue them to that guard, you can see the spacing i used in the pictures
  • take the printed screws with the non threaded top and fit them into the flat things that are also in that stl, then fit them into the slots in the wood part
  • take the remaining screw and put it in the bottom of the wood as the actual trigger

for the grip:

  • This is really best explained looking at how its set up in the completed model, most of the parts look pretty unique
  • I do have 2 guilds
    • the smaller one is to connect the outer nut to the end of the grip and into the middle nut
    • the bigger on is to connect it all to the wood, and that goes through the middle nut, the front of the grip, the spacer piece, and into the wood part

With all that the pistol should be put together i think, sorry this wasnt too helpful, i put mine together 3 years ago and dont have it with me right now
