Summary

  • 10 August 2024 Update - Some makers pointed out that certain files were not included in the original publishing of this make. I took every file down, re-uploaded every file, checked each one individually, listed them in order. When I clicked on download all files, I experienced the same things they did. "Keyboard Base Assembly B" does not appear in the zip file when you "download all files" - the older incorrect file appears for some reason. You can still download all the other files just fine, however, you need to download "Keyboard Base Assembly B" individually. I know this is not ideal, but I think this is a thingiverse bug and can't seem to sort it out. Please refer to the current list as corrected and up to date. My apologies for the inconvenience. FYI, this make is also on printables with no issues here: https://www.printables.com/model/940961-fallout-factory-terminal-holo-scope-full-sized-pro

I really appreciate your feed back, thank you -

Here is my latest make - the Fallout Factory Terminal (Holoscope) Full Size Prop. If the artist(s) who designed this ever come(s) across this make, I just want to say thank you very much for imagining this beautiful design. There was so much to uncover and this turned out to be the most satisfying and challenging project I've ever worked on.

This is a pretty dense make and I parceled out the parts by assembly in order to make it easier to print and assemble. I have not included instructions for this build - coming soon, but I think you can follow along with the photos.

I did included keyboard key decal graphics and Holoscope Logo decal and or stencil.

I used 20 gauge bradded electrical wire for all the wiring. I provided a modeled 10mm or 3/8" CRT cable that loops out of the screen housing, but for the make I used a length of rubber fuel hose which you can get at any auto parts store. Additionally, I used 5mm plastic rods - 154mm (Terminal CRT Bracket Assembly 1) and 54mm (Screen Assembly 4), respectively.

I want to thank you all for your interest and I wanted to say I could not do any of this without your support. Enjoy this make and please let me know what you think.
